Belfast's only facility that offers both independent AND
assisted living, The
Residence at Tall Pines has developed a unique approach. We feel it is very important to honor the process of aging in place— to respect and support a person’s decisions around their independence. To do this, we offer a flexible program of supportive services, always designed to enhance your independent lifestyle. Many of our residents are very independent - they continue to volunteer in the community, exercise at the nearby YMCA, and take classes at the Senior College at The University of Maine Hutchinson Center. Other residents require a bit more care, which they can receive in any one of our beautiful apartments. With a fully licensed program, we can bring services to you, in whatever apartment style choose. If you are a couple, we can accommodate different needs in the same apartment. With just 30 apartments, you’re not “just one of many.”  You can enjoy fine dining in our dining room, exercise in our state-of-the-art Wellness Center, get a massage, visit our Beauty Salon, or just relax in one of our comfortable community spaces. We have a vibrant activity program, involving  events within the
building and the entire community. You can meet with old friends
and make new ones. Come see what we’re smiling about at The Residence at Tall Pines! Do you need help determining the difference between independent or assisted living? We can help! In independent living, you rent an apartment just as you would anywhere else. Most utilities are in included in the rent. In addition, you receive a delicious evening meal in our dining room, have housekeeping once a week, get scheduled transportation to area shopping centers, have your  maintenance taken care of, and have the knowledge that help is
nearby should it be needed. We do offer some "a la carte"
services to help you stay as independent as possible.
With assisted living, you have the above plus breakfast and lunch, medication management, help with your personal care, laundry services, transportation to medical appointments, and more. Whether you choose independent or assisted living, The Residence is dedicated to making your stay with us an enjoyable part of your life. |

with is Katie Folsom. Katie has been marketing retirement information
for 10 years and has been with The Residence for the past 3 years. She
understands that this is an important decision wants to make sure you
get the most accurate information possible so that you can make the
right choices, and will help you through the process. Katie loves
everything outdoors and lives in Hope
with her husband, two dogs, two cats, two horses and "a few" chickens.
